In 1861 he was assistant minister of Christ  Church, Savannah, a position in which he remained until 1868, when he became rector of the Church of the Redeemer, Shelbyville, Tennesee; in 1870 was rector of St. Mark&#8217;s Church, Brunswick, Georgia; in 1872 officiated in Christ Church; Savannah; and in 1873 became rector of Trinity Church, Demopolis, Alabama. He died March 26, 1874, aged forty-three years. See Prot. Episc.
