He joined the Church when fifteen years of age; was educated in Brookville College, where he afterwards became a teacher; removed to Iowa in 1856; received license to preach the same year; in 1857 was admitted to the Iowa Conference; became a supernumerary in 1859; and died April 27, 1860.
