He was converted in 1806; officiated some time as exhorter and local preacher, and in 1811 entered the Illinois Conference. A severe loss by fire necessitated his location for a few years, with the exception of which he labored faithfully and successfully until 1826, when failing health obliged him to become a superannuate. He died full of hope, March 23, 1827.
