He was converted in early youth, joined the Wesleyans, became a local preacher, and an active worker in the City-road Circuit. At the request of Richard Watson, he offered himself to the Church for its ministry in 1827. He labored faithfully in his appointments, and was a painstaking and earnest preacher. In 1863 he retired to Lewisham, where he died, May 9, 1881. See Minutes of the Brit.
