Took his degree at the University of St. Andrews in 1697; was licensed to preach in 1702; called to the living at Abercrombie in 1704, and ordained. He died before March 14, 1733, aged about fifty-six years.See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 2:403.<\/p>\n<p>2. Took his degree at Marischal College, Aberdeen, in 1761; was licensed to preach in 1767; appointed to the living at St. Fergus in 1773; and  ordained; transferred to Old Deer in 1798, and died October 9, 1821, aged eighty years.
