He studied at Helmstadt, was in 1607 rector at Quedlinburg, and in 1615 pastor of St. John&#8217;s at Magdeburg. During the thirty years&#8217; war he had to leave that place, and was appointed in 1631 superintendent at Miihlhaisen, where he died in 1640. His writings, which are of a controversial character, are given in Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten- Lexikon, s.v.
