In 1822 he entered the Congregational College at Hoxton; in 1826 became pastor at Weymouth; in 1838 chaplain of the Protestant Dissenters&#8217; Collegiate School at Mill Hill, Middlesex, and in 1847 removed to Lechlade, Gloucestershire, where he died February 14, 1849. He wrote a beautiful memoir of his friend, Reverend Thomas C. Everett. See (Lond.) Evang.
