He experienced religion at sixteen; and the same year was licensed to preach, and admitted into the Holston Conference. In 1828 he located, because of ill-health; subsequently removed to Illinois, and in 1837 entered the Illinois Conference. In 1838 he became superannuated, and died August 21, 1839.
