He was ordained a Protestant minister, 1562, and went to Saint John&#8217;s College, Oxford (M.A., 1570), where his intimacy with Blessed Edmund Campion and other Catholics made it necessary for him to flee from England . Having become a Catholic, 1573 , he was ordained at Douai, 1575 , and returned to the English mission in Cornwall. A year later he was arrested by the sheriff, Grenville, who was knighted in consequence. Convicted of high treason under the statute of Elizabeth, he was executed, 29 November. Relics at the Carmelite  Convent , Lanherne, Cornwall.
