DEPART, No. 16). <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> most frequently &#8220;an arrival&#8221; (akin to aphikneomas, see COME), also signifies a &#8220;departure&#8221; (apo, &#8220;from,&#8221; hikneomai, &#8220;to come:&#8221; etymologically, to come far enough, reach; cp. hikanos, &#8220;sufficient&#8221;), the &#8220;departure&#8221; being regarded in relation to the end in view.
