He graduated from New Jersey College in 1823, and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1826; was licensed by the Mississippi Presbytery the same year; was pastor at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, till 1830; then at Wysox, Pennsylvania; July 8, 1833, was called to Wilkesbarre, and died there, April 18, 1861.
