A place near Salim where John was baptizing. Joh 3:23. Three sites have been proposed for it: 1. The traditional one, by Jerome, about 8 miles south of Beisan; not confirmed by later authorities. 2. In Wady Frah, 5 miles northeast of Jerusalem. 3. The more probable site is east of Nabls, near the village Slim, where there are copious springs.

Fuente: People’s Dictionary of the Bible

Enon

E’non. This is indicated by the name, which is merely a Greek version of a Chaldee word signifying “springs”.
