He was represented at the third General Council of Constantinople, in A.D. 680, by the bishop of Trimithus. Several of his discourses attributed to St. Epiphanius belong, probably to this Epiphanius or to a bishop of Constantia, also called Epiphanius. This latter is the author of a letter of congratulation, which was addressed to the patriarch John, who was  restored to the see of Constantinople in 867. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
