See HEAL, SAFE, SAVE. <\/p>\n<p> Note: Exerchomai, &#8220;to come or go out of a place,&#8221; is rendered, &#8220;He escape,&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Joh 10:39<\/span>, AV, an unsuitable translation, both in meaning and in regard to the circumstances of the Lord&#8217;s departure from His would-be captors. The RV &#8220;went forth&#8221; is both accurate and appropriate to the dignity of the Lord&#8217;s actions. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;a way out&#8221; (ek, &#8220;out,&#8221; baino, &#8220;to go&#8221;), denotes (a) &#8220;an escape,&#8221; <span class='bible'>1Co 10:13<\/span>, used with the definite article and translated &#8220;the way of escape,&#8221; as afforded by God in case of temptation; (b) &#8220;an issue or result,&#8221; <span class='bible'>Heb 13:7<\/span>.
