He was consecrated a bishop of the Non-Jurant Church at Dundee, April 28, 1709, having the district of Brechin assigned to him in 1720. He died at Inglismadie, July 6, 1723, aged about sixty-four years. He wrote a tract describing the various covenants of God. See Fasti Eccles.
