It is the translation of several Hebrew or Greek words: of male&#8217;, to fill in or up, to complete (Isa 65:11 the King James Version); nasa, to lift up, to aid (1Ki 9:11); anak, Hiphil, probably to lay on the neck, to encircle (with a bracelet) (Deu 15:14), of a slave set at liberty; arakh, to arrange in order, to lay out a table (Psa 78:19 the King James Version; Pro 9:2); asah kel, to make a vessel for containing things (Jer 46:19, Furnish thyself to go into captivity, the Revised Version, margin Hebrew, make thee vessels of captivity); plethomai, to be filled (Mat 22:10 the King James Version); stronnum, to strew, to spread (Mar 14:15; Luk 22:12); exartzo, to complete fully, to equip (2Ti 3:17).<\/p>\n<p>In Ecclesiasticus 29:26 we have furnish a table (kosmeo); 44:6, furnished with ability (choregeo); 1 Macc 14:34 the King James Version, He furnished them with all things (tthemi).<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: International Standard Bible Encyclopedia<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<h2>Furnish<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p> or stronnuo, &#8220;to spread,&#8221; is used of &#8220;furnishing a room,&#8221; <span class='bible'>Mar 14:15<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Luk 22:12<\/span>; of &#8220;making a bed,&#8221; <span class='bible'>Act 9:34<\/span>; in <span class='bible'>Mat 21:8<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Mar 11:8<\/span>, &#8220;spread&#8221; (AV, &#8220;strawed,&#8221; twice). See SPREAD. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to fit out, to prepare perfectly, to complete for a special purpose&#8221; (ex, &#8220;out,&#8221; used intensively, and artios, &#8220;joined,&#8221; artos, &#8220;a joint&#8221;), is used of &#8220;accomplishing&#8221; days, <span class='bible'>Act 21:5<\/span>, i.e., of &#8220;terminating&#8221; a space of time; of being &#8220;completely furnished,&#8221; by means of the Scriptures, for spiritual service, <span class='bible'>2Ti 3:17<\/span>.
