Handb. ad loc.) he is described as his father. The readings throughout are very uncertain, and in the versions the names are strangely confused. It is an obvious correction to suppose that      should be read in 1:14, as is in fact suggested by Cod. F.A.,  &#8230;  .  . The misunderstanding of   (comp. Tob 1:10; Tob 1:16, etc.) naturally occasioned the omission of the article.
