After serving as a preacher in the cathedral  of Mainz, he became superior of the Clerics of the Common Life at Biitzbach, and assisted in founding the University of Tdbingen, where he became professor of theology, 1464. In his commentary on the &#8220;Sentences,&#8221; though calling Occam his master, he constructed an orthodox theological system.
