Gregentius, Saint<\/h2>\n

bishop of Tephae, in Arabia, was born at Soplian, “on the frontier of Asia,” but other authorities say, at Milan, on December 19 (his festal day); He went to Alexandria, where he embraced the life of an anchorite, and’ was sent to take charge of the Homerites; He propagated Christianity among the idolaters of Yemen, and is said to have died in 552.
