SHAMMAH [q.v.], the son of Agee(2Sa 23:11 [Sept.   v.r. ,Vulg. de Arari, A.V. the Hararite], 33 [ v.r. , Arorites], which latter verse shows that it was a designation of the son and not of the father), a different person from Shammoth the Harorite[q.v.
