Charuphi&#8217;, ,with the art.; for which the Masoretic margin more correctly reads , Hariphite; Sept.  v.r. , Vulg. Haruphites), an epithet of Shephatiah, one of the brave adventurers who joined David at Ziklag (1Ch 12:5); so called, probably, as being a native of HARIPH.
