He edited the works of his father, and wrote himself a number of poems, among which are Love&#8217;s Revenge, a pastoral (1737, 4to):  Jephtha, an oratorio (1748, 8vo):  Force of Truth,  oratorio (1764), and others. He died March 16, 1776.
