Yahday&#8217;, , prob. grasper; Sept. v), a descendant apparently of Caleb, of the family of Hezron; his sons&#8217; names are given, but, as his own parentage is not stated (1Ch 2:47), it can only be conjectured that lie was the son of the preceding Gazez, the son (different from the brother) of Haran (1Ch 2:46). B.C. prob. post 1612.
