In 1818 he was preacher at Glickstadt, was called in 1825 as pastor primarius of St. Peter&#8217;s at Copenhagen, and died in 1858, doctor of theology. He published, Aufschwung zu dem Ewigen (Altona, 1820, 2 parts):  Ueber die Grundsatze eines Lehrbuches der christl. Religion (ibid. 1823):  Religionsvortrage fur denkende Verehrer Jesu (ibid. 1828,2 parts):  Untersuchung der Rechtmassigkeit der Verpflichtung, etc. (ibid. 1833): Die Anfange des Symbolzwanges, etc. (Leipsic, 1847):  Die  augsburgische Confession (ibid. eod.).
