He graduated from Yale College in 1829, and from Newton Theological Institution in 1834; was ordained pastor of the Baptist Church in Kennebunkport, Maine, December 10, 1834, and afterwards served the Free Street Church in Portland; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Mount Holly, N.J.; Manchester, N.H.; Utica and Elmira, N.Y.; Williamsport, Pennsylvania; and Roadstown, N.J. He died at Bridgeton, January 20, 1877.
