In the Sept., <span class='bible'>Job 17:8<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Job 18:20<\/span>; in some mss., <span class='bible'>Job 20:8<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Job 21:5<\/span>. Cp. teras, &#8220;a wonder;&#8221; semeion, &#8220;a sign;&#8221; thambos, &#8220;wonder;&#8221; ekstasis, &#8220;amazement.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> signifies &#8220;to wonder at, marvel&#8221; (akin to A); the following are RV differences from the AV: <span class='bible'>Luk 2:33<\/span>, &#8220;were marveling&#8221; for &#8220;marveled;&#8221; <span class='bible'>Luk 8:25<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Luk 11:14<\/span>, &#8220;marveled&#8221; for &#8220;wondered;&#8221; <span class='bible'>Luk 9:43<\/span>, &#8220;were marveling&#8221; for &#8220;wondered;&#8221; <span class='bible'>2Th 1:10<\/span>, &#8220;marveled at&#8221; for &#8220;admired&#8221; (of the person of Christ at the time of the shining forth of His Parousia, at the Second Advent).
