Subsequently he went to Virginia, and, immediately after the civil war in the South, became rector of St. Matthew&#8217;s Church, Bladensburg; in 1868 was rector of St. Ann&#8217;s, Middletown, Delaware; in 1873 rector of Trinity, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He died February 27, 1875, aged sixty-five-years. See Prot. Episc.
