H., a Presbyterian minister, was born in Tennessee Jan. 17,1831; was educated at Bethel College, Tenn.; was licensed in 1849, after teaching school for several years; was ordained in 1854. He died Sept. 14, 1858. Mr. McCrary was a good preacher, a successful teacher, and a fine theologian. See Wilson. Presb. Hist.
