Masobia), a designation of Jasiel, the last named of David&#8217;s body-guard (1Ch 11:47), probably meaning of Mesobaiah, as being his place of residence; but, no other clue being given to its locality there is no room even to conjecture its position. Possibly it is rather the name of a person from whom he was descended; but the form and construction are equally difficult as a patronymic. Perhaps we should point , and thus refer to ZOBAH as the place of his nationality.
