The daughter of Haran, and sister of Lot and Iscah (or Sarah); she married Nahor (Gen 11:29), by whom she had eight sons (Gen 19:20; Gen 19:23), one of whom was Bethuel, the father of Rebekah  (Gen 24:15; Gen 24:24; Gen 24:47). She was thus Abraham&#8217;s sister-in-law, and the grandmother of Isaac&#8217;s wife. B.C. cir. 2047.<\/p>\n<p>2. The fourth named of the five daughters of Zelophehad, of the tribe of Manasseh (Num 26:33), who became heiresses for the want of brothers (Num 27:1), and, having married members of the same tribe (Num 36:11), were assigned portions in Gilead (Jos 17:3).
