He graduated from Union College in 1799; studied under Dr. Froeligh; was licensed by the Classis of Paramus in 1800; became pastor at Coxsackie in 1801; at Catskill (or Leeds) in 1810; Caatsban in 1812; also at Saugerties village in 1839; and stated supply at Hurley in 1811. He was without a charge from 1862 until his death, November 22, 1872. Fifteen Sermons of his are published in Gordon&#8217;s Memoir of him, with selections from his autobiography, and extracts from his letters. See Corwin, Manual of Ref.
