His last appointment in the Baltimore Conference was Harper&#8217;s Ferry. In 1858 he took a supernumerary relation, and moved to Ohio. At the ensuing Conference he was, at his own request, located. In 1860-61 he was employed by the presiding elder on Clarksfield Circuit, and in 1863 he was admitted into the North Ohio Conference, and travelled the following circuits: Sullivan, one year; Republic, two years; Perkins, two years; and Centerton, one year. His last appointment was Republic. &#8220;He was a man of general intelligence, of goodly presence, and unassuming manners. He was a very good and acceptable preacher, a true Christian gentleman, and success attended his ministerial labors.&#8221; He died near Republic, Seneca County, Ohio, April 23, 1870.
