In each case it means to consider carefully, to weigh mentally. In Pro 4:26 and Pro 5:21, the Revised Version (British and American) substitutes make level. In Pro 5:6, it drops out entirely in the Revised Version (British and American). In Pro 21:2 and Pro 24:12, weigh is substituted for ponder.
