He took orders in the Church of England, and was a curate in Somersetshire for seven years. In 1830 he became minister of St. John&#8217;s, Edinburgh, and in 1841 dean of the Reformed Episcopal Church of Scotland, He died at Edinburgh, December 27, 1872. His publications include, a annual of Catechetical Instruction (6th ed.
