re-el-aya, re-el-a (, reelyah): One of the 12 chiefs who returned with Zerubbabel (Ezr 2:2 parallel Neh 7:7). In the passage in Neh the name is Raamiah (, raamyah), and in 1 Esdras 5:8 Resaias. Which is the original, it is almost impossible to decide; Reelaiah seems preferable.<\/p>\n
