Three different Greek words are used by the apostles to express this, (1<\/strong>) apokalupsis (1 Cor. 1<\/span>; 7<\/span>; 2 Thess. 1:7<\/span>; 1 Pet. 1:7<\/span>, 13<\/span>); (2<\/strong>) parousia (Matt. 24:3<\/span>, 27<\/span>; 1 Thess. 2:19<\/span>; James 5:7<\/span>, 8<\/span>); (3<\/strong>) epiphaneia (1 Tim. 6:14<\/span>; 2 Tim. 1:10<\/span>; 4:1-8<\/span>; Titus 2:13<\/span>).
