He had been a fellow of the two Saint Mary Winton colleges, and the first holder of the Wykehamical prebend &#8220;Bursalis,&#8221; at Chichester, but was living in retirement at Glastonbury, where he was executed with his abbot, Blessed Hugh Faringdon, for refusing to take the oath of supremacy.
