Salimbeni, Arcangelo<\/h2>\n

an Italian painter, was born at Sienna, and flourished from the year 1557 to 1579. He was a pupil of Sozzi, and enriched his native town with a great number of pictures. His best are a Holy Family and a Martyrdom of St. Peter.<\/p>\n
