“to scatter abroad” (dia, “throughout,” speiro, “to sow seed”), is used in Act 8:1<\/span>, Act 8:4<\/span>; Act 11:19<\/span>, all of the church in Jerusalem “scattered” through persecution; the word in general is suggestive of the effects of the “scattering” in the sowing of the spiritual seed of the Word of life.
