He was one of the oldest clergymen of his denomination in Dutchess County, and for the last twenty-two years of his life had been rector of St. James&#8217; Church at Hyde Park. He was formerly, for a long time, in charge of the Church at Norwalk, Connecticut, and was the founder of the parishes at Saugerties and Esopus, N.Y. See Amer. Quar.
