Previous to his conversion he was a practicing physician, but was admitted to the ministry by the Genesee Conference in October, 1853. In 1866 he took a superannuated relation, but in 1867 accepted an appointment in Scottsville, Monroe County, N.Y. Here he died April 29, 1868.
