“to be healthy, sound in health” (Eng., “hygiene,” etc.), translated “safe and sound” in Luk 15:27<\/span>, is used metaphorically of doctrine, 1Ti 1:10<\/span>; 2Ti 4:3<\/span>; Tit 1:9<\/span>; Tit 2:1<\/span>; of words, 1Ti 6:3<\/span>, RV (AV, “wholesome,” RV marg., “healthful”); 2Ti 1:13<\/span>; “in the faith,” Tit 1:13<\/span> (RV marg., “healthy”); “in faith,” Tit 2:2<\/span> (RV marg., ditto). <\/p>\n
