Sponsa Christi<\/h2>\n

(bride of Christ) are, the first words of a hymn for All saints’ day, an English version of which is as follows:<\/p>\n

Spouse of Christ in arms contending <\/p>\n

O’er each clime beneath the sun, <\/p>\n

Mix with prayers for help descending, <\/p>\n

Notes of praise for triumphs won.<\/p>\n

As the Church today rejoices <\/p>\n

All her saints in one to join, <\/p>\n

So from earth let all our voices <\/p>\n

Rise in melody divine.<\/p>\n
