See ARISE, No. 9. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> ek or ex, &#8220;out,&#8221; and No. 2, is used of the &#8220;springing&#8221; up of seeds, <span class='bible'>Mat 13:5<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Mar 4:5<\/span> (No. 7 in <span class='bible'>Mar 4:8<\/span>). <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> used transitively, &#8220;to bring forth, produce,&#8221; denotes, in the Passive Voice, &#8220;to spring up, grow,&#8221; of seed, <span class='bible'>Luk 8:6<\/span>, <span class='bible'>Luk 8:8<\/span>, AV, &#8220;was sprung up&#8221; and &#8220;sprang up&#8221; (RV, &#8220;grew&#8221;); in the Active Voice, intransitively, in <span class='bible'>Heb 12:15<\/span>, of a root of bitterness.
