Tappush<\/h2>\n

Tap’push. (the apple-city).<\/p>\n

1. A city of Judah, of the Shefelah, or lowland. Jos 15:34.<\/p>\n

2. A place on the boundary, of the “children of Joseph.” Jos 16:8; Jos 17:8. Its full name was probably En-tappuah. Jos 17:7. (“Around the city, was a district called, the land of Tappuah; the city belonged to Ephraim, and the land to Manasseh. Jos 17:8” — Schaff).<\/p>\n

3. One of the sons of Hebron, of the tribe of Judah. 1Ch 2:43. It is doubtless the same as Beth-tappuah. (B.C. before 1450).<\/p>\n
