Jerome has the following comment upon Eze 29:1 : Decimus mensis, qui Hebrseis appellatur Tebeth, et apud Egyptios [with whom it was the fifth month]  [or , Coptic Tobi]; apud Romanos. Januarius. In Arabic it is called Tubah, in Greek  or , and in Sanskrit Tapas.
