See HANDLE, No. 2, KINDLE, LIGHT. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to touch,&#8221; a lighter term than No. 1, though <span class='bible'>Heb 11:28<\/span> approximates to it, in expressing the action of the Destroyer of the Egyptian firstborn; in <span class='bible'>Heb 12:20<\/span> it signifies &#8220;to touch,&#8221; and is not to be interpreted by <span class='bible'>Psa 104:32<\/span>, &#8220;He toucheth (No. 1 in the Sept.) the hills and they smoke;&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Col 2:21<\/span>, RV (AV, &#8220;handle&#8221;). See HANDLE, No. 2. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to touch upon, to touch slightly,&#8221; occurs in <span class='bible'>Luk 11:46<\/span>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to feel, to handle,&#8221; is rendered &#8220;that might be touched&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Heb 12:18<\/span>.
