See PREACH, SAY, SPEAK, TALK, TELL. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> primarily, &#8220;to spit or spue out,&#8221; or, of oxen, &#8220;to bellow, roar,&#8221; hence, &#8220;to speak aloud, utter,&#8221; occurs in <span class='bible'>Mat 13:35<\/span>. This affords an example of the tendency for certain words to become softened in force in late Greek. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;to send forth,&#8221; is used of &#8220;uttering&#8221; a cry, <span class='bible'>Mar 15:37<\/span>, of Christ&#8217;s final &#8220;utterance&#8221; on the Cross, RV, &#8220;uttered&#8221; (AV, &#8220;cried&#8221;).
