The Revised Version (British and American) adds still another form, outermost, in 2Ki 7:5, 2Ki 7:8 (the King James Version uttermost). the Revised Version (British and American) has made a few changes to secure a more accurate translation (Jer 9:26; Joe 2:20, etc.) or to give uniformity (Exo 26:4; Mat 5:26; Mat 12:42, etc.), but for the most part has left the King James Version undisturbed.<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: International Standard Bible Encyclopedia<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<h2>Uttermost<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p> the neuter of the adjective panteles, &#8220;complete, perfect,&#8221; used with eis to (&#8220;unto the&#8221;), is translated &#8220;to the uttermost&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Heb 7:25<\/span>, where the meaning may be &#8220;finally;&#8221; in <span class='bible'>Luk 13:11<\/span> (negatively), &#8220;in no wise.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;an end,&#8221; is rendered &#8220;the uttermost&#8221; in <span class='bible'>1Th 2:16<\/span>, said of Divine wrath upon the Jews, referring to the prophecy of Duet. 28:15-68; the nation as such, will yet, however, be delivered (<span class='bible'>Rom 11:26<\/span>; cp. <span class='bible'>Jer 30:4-11<\/span>).
