He was chaplain of the 105th Regiment of Ohio Volunteers, and at the time of his death was rector of St. James&#8217;s Church in Painesville, which position he had held for nearly three years. Previous to this he had been rector of St. John&#8217;s Church, Clyde, N. Y., for a period of five years. See American Quar. Church Rev.
